  1.  Avoid all processed food, including refined sugars, flours, and saturated fats. Cut out foods that have been genetically modified and instead opt for fresh organic whole foods.
  2. Drink clean, purified water.  Drinking water first thing in the morning helps to re-hydrate the body, while jump starting the metabolism and supporting the body's natural elimination process. Bonus: Adding lemon to your water can enhance the purging of toxins, among many other amazing benefits.
  3. Sleep! The brain has a disposal system similar to the lymphatic system, but instead it is called the 'glymphatic system.' This system pushes cerebral spinal fluid through the brain's tissues and  flushing waste from the brain back into the body's circulatory system where it eventually reaches the liver and is eliminated.
  4. Exercise is the one thing that seems to be stressed for good health from every possible source. Three ways exercise help our bodies to detox include: Increased blood circulation accelerates detox process while delivering more oxygen and nutrients to organs and muscles, stimulates lymphatic circulation which pulls waste from the body's cell for elimination, and supports increased perspiration allowing sweat to pull toxins through the pores of the skin.
  5. Skin, if elimination of any of the primary organs is overloaded, the skin is often the overflow route.  Soft, clear and well hydrated skin is a sign of proper elimination. Aid your skin in detoxing by drinking plenty of water, sweating regularly, and dry brushing your skin to clear dead cells and grim making it easier for toxins to pass through.
  6. Be emotional. Emotions are 'energy in motion' (i.e. E-motion) which can vibrate at different frequencies. These frequencies can become trapped in the body when we disregard or don't fully acknowledge them. When negative energy stays in our body it blocks our communication channels which weakens our system and allows for disease to manifest.
